Children's Ministry - Sri Lanka

New Boys Home in Vavuniya

In 2003 we commenced building a Boy's Home in Vavuniya in the mid-north of Sri Lanka. We are planning to open this Home in June 2007. The house has five bedrooms and initially we will take in 10 boys increasing the number to 50 in the years ahead. A new well and water tower were completed in early this year. A Pastor and his wife and two small children from our Colombo CRC will be houseparents to the boys. They will be assisted by a Bible School graduate and a faithful church member who is the caretaker of our properties.
