Originally from Victoria , Rachelle graduated from World Missions Faith training School in Sth Carolina, USA before going to PNG as a missionary in 1992. For 6 years she served in hospitality ministry looking after and catering for visitors as well as working in the missions coffee shop. Later Rachelle became Ps. Barry’s personal assistant and also managed the Night Bible School at Bethel. She returned to Australia in 2001 and worked with Fiji missionary Julie Fonorito in Ps. Barry ‘s office in Adelaide. In 2006 she returned to Bethel to serve in the World Missions Office and assist in the World Missions Faith Training School.

Warwick comes from Gisborne on the south island of New Zealand. He came to PNG as a missionary in 1995 and joined the building and maintenance team and helped to construct the Bethel Tabernacle. Warwick has been heavily involved in the prison ministry and also ran the Perspectives missions course for a number of years. In 2007 Warwick will lead the World Missions Faith Training School. His wife Omega comes from the Central Province village of Lalaura. She has been a long-term member of staff at Bethel. Omega is part of the Bethel worship team and has worked in the administration office. They have two small boys : Jethro and Warwick Junior.

Pastor Liza graduated from our Philippines School of Ministry (PSOM) and served in her local church at Legaspi. As part of the International Student Sponsorship Program she went to PNG in 1995, graduating from Bethel Bible College in 1996. She returned to the Philippines in 1997 to become the Principal of our Palawan Ministry Training Center for 9 years. where she was teaching, discipling, training and leading outreach work with students. In June 2006 Liza was commissioned as our first Philippine missionary and went to Sri Lanka to work in our Bethel Children’s Home at Valachchenai.

Nola has been a missionary for 40 years, serving in both PNG and Switzerland. She has taught mainly in schools for the children of missionaries, but after spending some time at home, has returned to the field to help Ps Barry prepare curriculum and books.

Lency was a street dancer in Solomons when he was saved through the CRC in Honiara. Under the International Student Sponsorship Programme, Lency graduated from Bethel Bible College, PNG. He joined the Bethel staff and taught creative arts & evangelism. In 1993 he undertook some additional training in Adelaide and returned to PNG to form the Youth Afire drama group and take charge of the Students Alive high school progamme. In 2005, Lency was appointed National Director for Scripture Union in PNG. He remains very active in our CRC ministry. His wife Idau is from PNG and they have five children : Jeasie, Tehilla, Shakinah, Zoe & Beatrix

Jean comes from New Zealand and was a missionary to Korea before God called her to serve in PNG 30 years ago. Her main ministry has been in the Print Shop at Bethel were she is responsible for the printing of all our training notes for PNG and for our Bible Schools in West Papua, Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands & the Philippines. Jean is very committed to the Sunday School and also runs a Joy Time kids club during Sunday evening services. She helped establish the Girl’s Brigade which runs on Saturday mornings and was instrumental in starting the ARK (Always Remember Kids) program which is designed to reach neighbourhood children with the Gospel.

Ps Jonah comes from the Morobe Province of PNG. He graduated from Bethel Bible College in 1990 and joined the team at Bethel until 1994 when he went to the Enga Province to establish a provincial Bible School. In 1997, Jonah studied in Australia

at Tabor College & the CRC Ministry College in Adelaide. He returned to PNG and for the next four years he was Principal of Bethel Bible College.

Responding to the call of God to be a missionary to Indonesia, in 2003 Jonah was deployed to Abepura near Jayapura the capital of the West Papuan Province. He has been teaching in three Bible schools and assisting in local churches. He married Lena from West Papua and they have a baby son Emanuel.

Jeremy and Sondra Steel have been committed members of our CRC church at Seaton, Adelaide for many years where Jeremy was a Youth Pastor. During his childhood, Jeremy’s family served in a remote Aboriginal community at Ernabella in the far north of South Australia. He returned to Adelaide to attend high school. Sondra’ as born in PNG while her parents were CRC missionaries at Bethel Centre. She returned to Australia when she was 3yrs old. They spent some time in Malaysia doing secular work. With their three children James (5), Benjamin (4) and Alyssa (2) they went to Bethel Centre, PNG in Feb 2007. Jeremy will be serving in a support role with the local church.

Ps. Jimmy comes from Santa Isabel Island and Mary comes from New Georgia , Western Province in the Solomon Islands. They were married in 1982. Jimmy worked as an accountant for several finance companies before they traveled as a family to PNG to train under the International Student Sponsorship Programme. Jimmy graduated from Bethel Bible College and Mary from Crusade Bible School (night school). In 1997 the family spent 9 months in Adelaide preparing to go back to PNG as missionaries. Ps. Jimmy heads the Finance Department at Bethel and is assisted by Mary. They have three sons: Carl, Evan and Charis.

Originally from Central Province, Susan was a member of the Bethel youth. From an early age she felt the call of God upon her life. She attended Bethel Bible College from 1993-94 and during her sixth months practical she did a short-term missions trip to Fiji. After graduation she worked in the Missions Office until August 1996 when she left for Fiji as a missionary. She initially served in Suva helping Ps. Alipate with the Bible School, Pre-school and local church. Later she went to Savausavu to pioneer a church and establish a pre-school. After returning from furlough, Susan again served in Suva but has recently returned to Savusavu.

Giles comes form the Oro Province in PNG. He first graduated from the Institute of Evangelism in 1992 and then Bethel Bible College. For the next seven years he served on the staff of the Pidgin Bible School near Mt. Hagen. Giles was involved in lecturing, discipling, teaching, preaching and ministering in other provinces. In 1998 he conducted a Discipleship School in Enga Province for 6 months. In 2003 Giles attended the World Misisons Faith Training School at Bethel Centre. After his graduation he was sent from his home church in Mt. Hagen as a missionary to Fiji in 2005. He has been working in Suva with Ps. Alipate and in 2007 he will be the Principal of our Fiji Discipleship School .

Ps. Jennah came to know the Lord when she was 16. From 1986-87 she trained at Bethel Bible College in Port Moresby.

After graduation she traveled to Philippines as a missionary where she helped pioneer the CRC work in Legaspi and then moved to Mandaue and Cebu city.

In 2000 Jennah went to Fiji to serve her first missionary term with our National Leader, Ps. Alipate in Suva. During this time she pioneered the work in Lakena.

She is currently pastoring a church at Savusavu where a pre-school has been established as part of the ministry.

Enoch is the eldest of six children. He has lived all his childhood at Bethel Centre , PNG where his father, Ps. Fuwe Hageyo is now National Chairman for the CRC in PNG. Enoch committed his life to Jesus Christ when he was 12. He completed 2 years of Night Bible School and then graduated from Bethel Bible College and World Missions Faith Training School. In 2003 he trained with Masters Commission in Australia and returned to be a staff member at Bethel. Enoch was deployed as a missionary to Fiji in April 2006. He is based at Suva working in the local church under Ps. Alipate Yagomate. His main ministry is with Youth.

Rachel comes from the Kottayam district in Kerala, southern India. She studied for her Bachelor of Theology at the Sharon Bible College between 1985-88. For the next 9 years she taught at the New India Church of God, Bible College in Chingavanam. In 1997 she went to PNG for cross-cultural training before being sent out as a missionary to Fiji in 1999. There she served in the local church at Labasa before pioneering a work at Daku amongst the Fijian Indian sugar-cane farmers. She later pioneered again at Sigatoka before transferring to pastor the local church at Lakena , close to Suva.

The eldest of nine children, Peter comes from the Enga Province in PNG. He committed his life to Christ at a very young age. From 1993-95 he faithfully served in the music, Sunday School and youth ministry of his local church. Graduating from the Institute of Evangelism at Bethel Centre in 1996, Peter returned home to his province to help in his local church. In 2002, he graduated from the World Missions Faith Training School at Bethel and was sent to Fiji as a missionary in December 2005. Initially serving at Suva then Lautoka and Navua, Peter is now ministering in our local church at Savusavu on the northern island of Vanua Levu.

Rose comes from the Morobe Province of Papua New Guinea. She is a trained pre-school teacher and has been serving for some years with Ps. Peter Igarobae at our CRC church in Lae.

Her ministry involvement included home Bible studies, evangelism and a large children’s feeding program.

In May, 2007 Rose was deployed to Fiji to work in our very effective pre-schools which have been established in Suva, Labasa and Savusavu.

Both Ps. Elijah & Beverly come from the Oro Province in PNG. Together they graduated from Bethel Bible College in 1989 and joined the team at Bethel Centre for 6 years. Ps. Elijah served in the local church and Bev established a vibrant High School ministry.

In 1996 they were sent as missionaries to Fiji to work amongst the Fijian Indians at Labasa on the island of Vanua Levu.

They are currently pastoring in the “Sugar City” of Lautoka, a large city on the west coast of the island of Viti Levu.

Julie graduated from our Fiji School of Discipleship and Christian Ministry in 1994 and then under the International Student Sponsorship Program went to PNG . She graduated from Bethel Bile College in 1998 and then served on the staff of the World Missions Faith Training School – lecturing and assisting in the office. Julie was also involved in running the Crusade Night Bible School. After 6 years in Papua New Guinea Julie moved to Adelaide, Australia in 2001 where she continues to work with Pastor Barry Silverback as his personal assistant. During 2004-2005 Julie spent 15 months helping to care for the kids in our Bethel Children’s Home, Sri Lanka.

Rose comes from the East New Britain Province of Papua New Guinea. She graduated from Bethel Bible College in 1995 then worked in the Missions Office at Bethel Centre. For 4 1/2 yrs Rose was a missionary in Cebu in the Philippines , where she worked under Ps. Allan Manzanilla coordinating a Children’s Feeding Program and School Assistance Progam, running weekly Bible studies, evangelism programs and parent visitation. She returned to PNG in 2003 and then was sent out again in August 2005 as a missionary to Australia. Rose works in the CRC Missions International Office in Adelaide serving alongside Ps. Kevin & Brenda Hughes.

Ps. Peter graduated from Bethel Bible College in 1990 and went as a missionary to Legaspi, Philippines. He later moved to Cebu to help pioneer a new base in Cebu city. He returned to PNG on furlough in 1998 and married Filipino Nelia Danao. Nelia had trained at Bethel under the International Student Sponsorship Program. As newlyweds they returned to the Philippines to work in Cebu city for a year before being appointed as Principals of our Philippines School of Ministry (PSOM) which had been relocated from Legaspi to Danao, Cebu. In 2006 they moved to Pasig city (Manila) to pastor our local church. They have a daughter Kristine who is 6 Yrs old.

After finishing secular training in the printing industry, Thomas was saved through a Bethel Bible College open-air meeting in Port Moresby in 1987. He joined the team at Bethel and faithfully worked in the print-shop for almost 20 years. During this time he completed 2 years of Crusade Night Bible School, served in Youth Ministry for 12 yrs and graduated from the World Missions Faith Training School. Thomas took a short-term missions trip to the Philippines before being deployed as a missionary to Palawan, Philippines in June 2006. He served in local churches and outreaches as well a teaching in our Palawan Ministry Training Center.

Ps. Robin & Jackie are both graduates of Bethel Bible College. For a number of years they were Principals of the CRC Vision Bible School at Rabaul in East New Britain Province. When they

returned to Port Moresby Ps. Robin joined the Bethel Training staff.

In March 2001, they were deployed as missionaries to the Solomon Islands where they were appointed Principals of the CRC Christian Ministry Training Centre on the island of Malaita. Assisted by a number of national staff they have seen the student numbers increase—one year there were more than 50 ! They have three children : Isaac, Ileen and Nelson.

Merrilyn comes from the Oro province of Papua New Guinea. After graduating from Bethel Bible College she joined the team at Bethel Centre

and was involved in the Students Alive high school ministry, missions coffee shop and tambourine ministry. She was invited to go to the Solomons for several weeks to teach tambourine in the Honiara local church, then in 2002 she returned as a long-term missionary. Initially she worked with our National Leader Ps. Nathan Poloso in Honiara and local outreaches. She has been pastoring a local church at Buala on the island of Santa Isabel and more recently serving in a new work in Vella in the Western Province.

John comes from the Western Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. He served the local church

at Kopiago area of the Southern Highlands and graduated from the CRC Mala Bible School near Mt. Hagen. After graduation he joined the staff of this Pidgin Bible School before going to Port Moresby to train at the World Missions Faith Training School at Bethel. In 2006, John was sent as a missionary to the Solomon Islands and served alongside Ps. Nathan Poloso in the Honiara church. He is now working in Kakabona—an outreach pioneered from Honiara.

Peter is fist graduated from Livingstone Bible School in 1996. He then went to PNG in 1997 and completed two years at Bethel Bible College and graduated in 1998. After graduation, he served in the Training Department at Bethel Centre. In 2001, he went to the Philippines for a year to help out at the Bible School. He returned to PNG in 2002 and married a young lady from Motlock Islands, PNG. After their marriage, they returned to Vanuatu where they are currently the Principal of the John Williams Bible School.

Pastor John comes from the Oro Province in Papua New Guinea. He first graduated from the Institute of Evangelism at Bethel Centre in 1986 and then served in the Boat Ministry helping to build the Mauri Dalana. He graduated from Bethel Bible College in Feb. 1990. He served as missionary to the Philippines, firstly in Tabaco and then helped pioneer our work in Palawan. In 2004 .John went to Solomon Islands on staff at our CRC Christian Ministry Training Centre on the island of Malaita. After three years there he returned to PNG and in April 2007 he was deployed as a missionary to Vanuatu to become the new Principal of our John William Bible School.

Terri comes from the small country town of Culcairn in New South Wales. She is a mother of four children and a trained teacher. Part of her 6 yr full-time teaching experience was completed at an Aboriginal mission in Nth. Queensland. For the past 10 years she has taught Bahasa Indonesia to primary aged children on a part-time basis. She has also worked with the mentally disabled. In 2006 Terri took a short term trip to PNG and onto West Papua, Indonesia. In May 2007 she was deployed as a CRC missionary to teach English at the Rainbow Orphanage in Abepura, West Papua. It is difficult to obtain long term visas to enter Indonesia so Terri will base out of Bethel .

Coming from the Central Province in PNG, Ialea is the fourth child in a family of 8. She committed her life to Christ in1974 at the age of 14 yrs.

After graduating from the Institute of Evangelism at Bethel she also completed the Missions Perspectives course in 1988 and a short-term missions course in 2004.

Ilalea has been a faithful staff member at Bethel for many years until May 2007 when she was deployed as a missionary to Indonesia. She has gone to Abepura in West Papua to serve on staff at the Rainbow Orphanage.

After coming from a Hindu background, Rosylin committed her life to Jesus Christ in 1993. She attended the Fiji School of Discipleship and Christian Ministry in Suva and then under the International Student Sponsorship Program (ISSP) she went to PNG to train at Bethel Bible College for 2 years. After graduation she worked in the Missions Office before returning to Fiji to assist in various outreaches. In 1999 she returned to PNG as a missionary and in 2003 went to India to serve in an orphanage at Goa. From there she went to Sri Lanka to work in our Bethel Children’s Home. Rosylin is currently in India serving in local churches in New Delhi & the Punjab state.
